I've heard some people speculate we might end up with a Dem speaker because the Repugs won't/can't work together. All the Dems and a few rational Repugs (if there are any) might team up to vote for a Dem just so this house doesn't go down in history as the most dysfunctional ever.

They could shove the radicals to the side and actually get some things done.

McCarthy is a great example of a politician without much conviction, principle, and backbone. In other words a typical politician. If/when he gets speaker nothing will change, business as usual.

The fact The House is considering yet another Californian to be Speaker of the House... apparently your representatives didn't learn the first time... tells me all I need to know about everyone else's representatives.

Typical is we should be removing antiquated and obscure laws instead of adding to them.

When I clean my house I am still there, all the crap I have acquired is removed.
