Crazy weather time is here.

Depending on which forecast you read, Wednesday the high will be 72 and the overnight low will be 16. 20 on the high side.

Our forecast for Tue night thru Thur is calling for 1-2 feet of snow. I can't ever remember a time where they called for snow in feet. Usually it is 3"-6", or 8"-12". Never FEET of snow.

Currently 32° and raining buckets. I think the only thing preventing ice build up on the roads is the volume of running water on them. My car was a solid block of ice when I got here this morning.

We only got about 4-5 inches last night. They are still calling for another foot of snow tonight with big winds and lots of drifting.

Yeah it's usually not the snow itself that is the problem.
The big winds and drifting are what lead to the power outages, and those really suck.

So far, it's been, meh..

Had about 6-8 inches of snow last night - added around 4" more this morning. Might have to call in sick tomorrow from the ski slopes.

just remember that whatever you get in the winter is just weather, but whatever you get in the summer is climate.
