There be some made up but,,,
Have you tried ChatGPT or the new Bing Ai?
Start asking it questions. Anything.

Ask it to write code for you.
It wrote code for me in 10 seconds that I had been working on for days.
Was it right the first time, no. But it went off of what I asked.
I explained it and the second time it was perfect.

I have been requested to add some features to our 5 axis cell control software that I wrote in C#. I have been toying with the idea of seeing how I could use ChatGPT to streamline the process. Did you have trouble getting connected? The first two times I tried it said it was too bust and to come back later. I have not tried a third time.

it was a huge stretch.... for me, not the AI ;D

Did ChatGPT also add the Spyware package?

The Ai Wars are coming, who can climb the fastest.

QuoteThe new Bing experience is a culmination of four technical breakthroughs:

Next-generation OpenAI model. We're excited to announce the new Bing is running on a new, next-generation OpenAI large language model that is more powerful than ChatGPT and customized specifically for search. It takes key learnings and advancements from ChatGPT and GPT-3.5 – and it is even faster, more accurate and more capable.

Microsoft Prometheus model. We have developed a proprietary way of working with the OpenAI model that allows us to best leverage its power. We call this collection of capabilities and techniques the Prometheus model. This combination gives you more relevant, timely and targeted results, with improved safety.

Applying AI to core search algorithm. We've also applied the AI model to our core Bing search ranking engine, which led to the largest jump in relevance in two decades. With this AI model, even basic search queries are more accurate and more relevant.

New user experience. We're reimagining how you interact with search, browser and chat by pulling them into a unified experience. This will unlock a completely new way to interact with the web.

OK, I just tried it again and I am slightly impressed. Our cell controller software has 7 tabs with tables in each one. Each table has columns for pallet number, Checkboxes for loaded, released, and finished. also A label for program runtime, a textbox for program name and a numeric updown limited from 0-2 for no execute, machine 1 or machine 2. most of the data is imported from a spreadsheet that the operators use. There are also a few buttons to update machines as to which pallets are released and which pallets and read in which pallets are finished. Also buttons to build the schedule programs that run in the machine.

I created all of the controls in windows forms designer, it was rather tedious but my limited coding skills were struggling to populate the table programmatically at runtime. I just asked ChatGPT to write code to do it programmatically. It didn't work the first time but it was close. I can see myself using this more often based on this test.

I'm afraid of AI because it's learned by scraping the web and there's so much bad information - I see this in my industry with sound and WHY certain things sound good, and there's more bad information than good - so that gets aggregated by AI services as 'THE' good. At least on a forum you can *kind of* judge the poster, or the forum

I still haven't played around with ChatGPT at all, but came across this yesterday and thought it might be of interest here:

It is only as good as the information it is fed....garbage in = garbage out.

Liberal human fascists at big tech (google, Twitter, FB, etc) write algorithms to suppress speech they don't agree with. Then AI consumes that data from the web. Is AI smart enough to see the bias and search for truth, or is it's truth defined by the controlling opinions on the internet?

LOL! A friend observes that the internet has enabled anybody to "give bad advice/incorrect information with conviction",  and I fear that AI might further amplify/accelerate this!

On the one hand, while the democratization of "publishing" is empowering and useful, it has also lowered the barriers to entry that once kept the idiots/crackpots/know-nothings out! Like many things in life it's a mixed blessing....sigh.

I just asked it;

If your information comes from collecting data from the internet how do you know your answers are not biased by speech suppression algorithms used by big tech companies?

This was it's answer;

As an AI language model, I rely on analyzing large volumes of text and data from a variety of sources to generate answers to questions. I do not have the ability to browse the internet or access information in the same way that humans do.

Regarding the issue of speech suppression algorithms used by big tech companies, it is true that these algorithms can impact the information that users see on social media platforms and search engines. However, as an AI language model, I do not have biases in the same way that humans might, and I am designed to generate responses based on the available data and evidence.

It's important to note that as with any source of information, there may be biases or limitations in the data that I analyze, which can influence the accuracy of my responses. To mitigate this, I rely on analyzing information from multiple sources and verifying information as much as possible to ensure the accuracy and fairness of my answers.

- Reads like a BS puff piece from a liberal website justifying some untrue BS.
