We Had, Fanuc FM-1, Brother, Mori, Hardinge, Haas, Bridgeport, Okuma, and two I can't remember cause they are older than me.

I actually loved knowing the differences.

Ulcers?? you do what you can do. if they Bitch, let them do it.

Not all AE's are created equal. Some are more equal than others.

OH thats right he was an Okuma fan boy, said something like use G15 H1 .. WTF
.Okuma is so close to ISO/fanuc but just has to be that little bit different....
Have to say if I was only working on Okuma their V### parameters are decent to remember.

Did you mean VC### or is there also V###? I haven't seen a V### on the Kipware demo I received.

System variable all start with the letter V. Example, G10 to preload offsets in a Fanuc is VZOFX
  • for X, VZOFY
  • for Y, etc.

If you are interested send me a PM with your email and I can send you some stuff you may want. I have a program we use to record offsets to a text file already formatted to be copy/paste back into a program as preloads. No typing or fat fingering offsets. I also have a custom maker sub program that adds fixture offsets function with the same call lines as Okuma 5x machines. Most Cam posts already have the logic worked out for this.
