your graphs are also missing cost of living increase.

I'll take that, wages may have gone up, the income disparity has not

I agree, wages have gone up and inflation has as well. Wages are up for even the lowest earners, but as you say the income gap continues to grow. That unfortunately won't be fixed by any freely elected government. The people with money will always be able to buy off the politicians. Also, greed isn't going to go away. The whole "great reset" that the globalists and lefties keep talking about is just a wealth transfer from some rich people to other rich people, it has nothing to do with helping the poor.

are you saying the wealth doesn't trickle down?

Only when forced by supply and demand of the labour (spelled it like that so you could understand) market. The top are greedy and they are not going to change for anyone. The only time things get better for working class folks is when there is big economic growth and unemployment drops to virtually non-existent. At that point business that want/need employees are forced to pay more. That is what we saw from 2017-2020. The high demand for workers and jobs coming back to the US drove wages up. Truthfully the top % don't like that situation, unless their profits are greater than the increases in wages. This again requires a growing economy and a tax structure that supports that.

IMO, the rich got richer at exponential rates under Obama and under Trump, the difference is for working class folks Under Trump GDP 3%+ growth created high demand for labor and that resulted in increased wages. Back in the Obama days manufacturing jobs were leaving the country at a rate that kept labor demand low resulting in flat wages.

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice.

Proverbs 18:13 ESV / 320 helpful votes

A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion.

Ah this should be fun!  here's one about Biden
Isaiah 28:11
So now God will have to speak to his people through foreign oppressors who speak a strange language!

And another
On that day, River vegetation will rot away
7 the banks of the river-baked clay, The riverbed hard and smooth, river grasses dried up and gone with the wind.
8 Fishermen will complain that the fishing's been ruined.
9 Textile workers will be out of work, all weavers and workers in linen and cotton and wool
10 Dispirited, depressed in their forced idleness - everyone who works for a living, jobless.
Human pride weighed you down so heavily that only divine humility could raise you up again. ~Augustine of Hippo

We need those reactions back.

I think this version is more applicable though:

Looks like we will become more like China and their social credit system. if you post negative comments about the government, you won't be able to have a good job and your children won't get accepted in to college. In China all people are tracked via their phone, hang with the wrong crowd you end up disappeared. Post the wrong thing your life is ruined. No free speech, no right to assembly. Looks like the liberals are getting their socialist's utopia sooner than I expected.
