Trump says on Truth Social he’s been indicted in classified docs probe?

Trump would of been much better off just to give the doc's back when they first asked him for them. Why he decided to keep them is beyond me. Maybe hoarding the stuff in case of another Covid TP shortage? He did keep them in a bathroom after all. Power trip thing? Probably.

I still think its concerning that the method to secure classified documents is apparently non-existent. A public library is more secure.

It's been a while since I've had the training, but, aren't some documents marked with a date before which the document must remain classified?

Biden kept his in the garage of one of his houses in Delaware.. the only security was a standard garage door and a
padlock.. and as VP he did not have the authority to declassify documents, yet this does not seem to be a problem

Quote from: gcode on June 13, 2023, 10:15 AMThey already have it.
Turdo demonstrated this with the Canadian truckers Covid protests
They were peaceful, but noisy,,,
He declared them enemies of the state and turned off their bank accounts.
That probably didn't take an hour.. I don't think the Canadian banks even asked for a court order
they just did it
Just so everyone knows; fuckin' Bank of America gives the FBI whatever they want WITHOUT warrants, so I am fairly certain they would take your money on a whim.

The thought of a president showing a secret-service guard some form of a library card to "check out" classified documents is humorous to me.

Seems odd for something like this to have been overlooked for so long. Were classified documents not a thing when the Constitution was written? I imagine they had some form of secret documents.

I would also hope there is a more robust system of declassifying something other than one person saying "all of the shit in that there box is declassified", but apparently there is not. My guess is Trump did not know what specifically many of those boxes contained. No way did he read through all those.

It is ONLY an issue today because the name Donald J. Trump is involved
Other Presidents like Obama left with reams and reams of documents without a word.

In fact, I was reading somewhere that Congress revised the Presidential Records Act in 2017 to expedite some classified materials Obama took with him to be included in his memoirs, which he wanted to begin writing as soon as he left office.

I believe the gist of it was that there was previously a time period that had to elapse for a document to be declassified, but since Obama was the chosen, anointed one, Pelosi and the Dem majority changed the rules to accommodate him.

Now those same people who changed the rules for Obama are angry that Trump is using the same rules for himself.
The old double standard is alive and well!

When they were reading (they call it indoctrinating but reading sounds better) some people into a certain program they gave them orange t-shirts that read "Leavenworth: A Gated Community"

Mishandling classified material is very serious matter, at least at our level.

Biden also had classified documents in a public building that Chinese people had access to but that's OK, he isn't Trump.

You haven't read the indictment obviously

CNCAppsJames

Had some time in the airport to finish reading the indictment.

Takeaways;
the cover up is ALWAYS worse than the crime,
there's a LOT of redundantly redundant redundancies in the accusations... like how if 10 people see the same thing it's not 10 different stories, it should be the same story just told 10 different ways... alphabet soup has MASTERED the art of piling on (read Three Felonies a Day),
Trump fucked up pure and simple and was indignant about it... he didn't have the sense to keep his wits about him with regard to how deep-seated the hatred from alphabet soup was towards him that if he so much as committed a jay-walking infraction they were going to pile on
He told people about what he had... rule #1 about fight club; don't talk about fight club. If you have secret shit KEEP IT TO YOUR FUCKING SELF!
When doing illegal stuff, ONLY do it with people you can trust to move a body with.

Maybe I am reading it wrong but none of the charges carry a mandatory sentence. THere are maximums for fines, jail time and supervised release so even if convicted, he could walk, and a conviction would serve the intended purpose of keeping him from holding office should there not be a MAGA Revolution.

I truly believe it is going to have to go to SCOTUS because the Judicial Watch v National Archives ruling is still out there and is probably going to come into play. Will overtly selective and malicious prosecution be allowed to stand?

I'm gonna take a deeper dive into it. Like I said, I believe there's a single story here and it's being told from 10 different views to make it look as bad as humanly possible to satiate the TDS sycophants. The ONLY reason we didn't see this regarding Killary is because it's Killary and she suicides people.

Trump is alleging the Grand Jury that indicted him was unaware of Judicial Watch v Natjonal Archives ruling.

It sure would be delicious if the Prosecution left that juicy tidbit out.
