$600 per person with lots leftover for unemployment and other programs.
All of my family is doing good except for one daughter who is a barber in LA county. They've been on limited openings all summer and are now closed completely. She's running on fumes and about to lose her apartment so I'm going to give her my $600 and maybe my wife will give hers too.
IMO that money needs to go to those who really need it and are losing everything because of this overboard pandemic response.

My daughter manages two salons. They were closed for three weeks back around April. Been open since. Two girls caught the Wu Flu, causing all employees to be tested both times. Each time, all employees came back negative, with exception of the original two. Meaning the salons weren't the hot zones. Living were.

My employer got almost $400,000 back earlier in year from first stimulus. We were not hardshipped in any way.

Mine was direct deposit but I know others who got the debit card. After you activate it you can take it to your bank and they can deposit the money into your account, if you'd like. I suggest keeping the card as there has been speculation that it will be re-filled with future stimulus payments.

Did you get a tax return by card before? Last year for the first stimulus we got a direct deposit because that was how our taxes were done. Then last summer I did an amended return because I found a mistake that gained us $500 back. Amended return refund only go by check. Because our last payment from uncle Sam was by check, this last stimulus came by check as well.

Yep.
I would hang on to the debit card as well because they were talking about adding another $1400 per person.
They may just add it to the same debit card instead of issuing new ones, but since that makes sense, it probably WON'T happen that way.

Wifey and I got ours by direct deposit too, and so did her Mom.
We are thankful that we are not hurting financially from this whole situation either.
We are putting the stimulus into our emergency fund for now in case things drastically change for the worse.

Same here. We made a "Biden" budget to start putting a lot of extra $ into savings for the inevitable hard times Biden/Pelosi plans will bring.

I saw a FB post that said to record current energy prices, food prices, wages, unemployment, etc. Then every 6 months compare to the current results.
