Her and the "lefty organization" were pressured by the right to be fired or resign because she wouldn't say what they wanted her to say. In my opinion, she said the right thing. It's also my opinion that saying what she said, makes her a hypocrite because she wouldn't say that if it were one of the identity or social classifications that she would want to protect from so called "free speech".  She either supports it, or she doesn't.

Nobody gave a crap until a week ago that she plagiarized anything.

This was nothing more than "do what I want you to or we're going to get you cancelled, fired, forced to resign".


And thanks for acknowledging that saying she was cancelled (in my opinion) isn't me supporting cancel culture.

 I'd guess that a little googling would show a double standard on which speech is allowed on campus. Holocaust river to the sea types being allowed, promoted or at the very least when questioned, not condemned is a major problem no matter who did it.
 The left has a strangle hold on upper echelons of gov't. culture, academia and media. Not sure what rightly pressure was succumbed to in your opinion. People have the right to say dumb shit and others have the right to condemn it. The testimony was really really really really bad for someone making 900K. I'd speculate it pissed off the wrong Jew.
