This case is a joke, and the media and the governor can enjoy their victory lap for now.

Awarding a massive judgement for damages when no damages were proven to exist only shows the bias of the judge, and his political motivation.

His kangaroo court ruling will be laughed out of the higher courts at some point, like all of the other ridiculous rulings like the Colorado case, but unfortunately it just takes time.

Del is right.
Every one of these bullshit kangaroo court rulings are starting to add up to the point where all but the most die-hard Trump haters won't see what is really going on here.

Quote from: Jim at Gentex on February 19, 2024, 07:18 AMThe results speak for themselves, and if not for timing of the COVID pandemic, Joe Biden would just be a footnote in history as a Senator who rose to the office of VP then just faded away.

He should always be remembered for the despicable way in which he abandoned Afghanistan.

The power of the presidency is too ripe a plum for ambitious actors to ignore when a man as malleable as Biden holds the office.

Quote from: Jim at Gentex on February 19, 2024, 07:18 AMHey, MANY people were skeptical, myself included.

But in retrospect, putting aside personal feelings, the 4 years he spent as President were a YUGE net positive for the USA.

eMC off topic is gone, but those who were there may remember I was a rabid anti-Trumper going into the 2016 election.
I still don't like the guy and have never been able to sit through one of his speeches, but I approved of almost everything he did as President.

The current status of the American justice system under liberal control is nothing short of third world banana republic. Communist style show trials for made up crimes and predetermined verdicts. We are living in scary times. There are not many days left of true American freedoms. The civil rights afforded by our constitution mean very little to the left. If it serves their purpose to throw them out they won't hesitate.

And turning a blind eye to approved violence.    Antfia and BLM's "mostly peaceful" protests.
(30+ dead $4 billion in damages) almost zero prosecutions

versus the Jan6 prosecutions ... some of the accused have been in solitary on no bail warrants for 3 years now.

Didn't he use that time to talk about his dead son Beau once again? His son who didn't die in combat?
Or him laughing at the Gold Star mother crying about her son?

Which is a polar opposite of the walking corpse that we've had for the last 4 years.
Can anyone name a single good thing that he's done his handlers have done off the top of their head?

I am 100% convinced that he hasn't made 1 single decision himself and has been told what to do and say every step of the way.

Agreed.

He campaigned from his basement because he couldn't take the day-to-day grind on the campaign trail, then after he got elected he only deteriorated all the more.

Today I would argue that he is barely functional, and probably only has a couple of lucid hours a day.

WE WILL KNOW FOR SURE WHEN HE FLAT OUT REFUSES TO DEBATE TRUMP OR ANYONE ELSE.

Mark it down... it WILL happen.
No debates.
None.

QuoteI've been saying something for years that is especially true for the 2024 election: you're voting for a president, not a prom date. This isn't a long-running episode of "The Bachelor" that's supposed to end with a love story.

A vote for Joe Biden or whichever commie ends up on the ballot in November is a vote for the imminent demise of the United States. That's not hyperbole. This country is reeling from just three years of the Joe Biden fiasco, and he hasn't even had much of a Congress to work with. The cabal running his brain is a wrecking ball. The United States as we know it will not survive until 2028 with the Democrats in control of the White House. It may still be called the United States of America, but it's not going to be the same country.

There is no "principled" reason for any Republican to vote for anyone other than Trump or any other Republican who might replace him should the Democrats' pre-election rigging work. Sitting this election out because of delicate feelings or a misbegotten sense of honor would be unconscionable.
