Didn't that charity raise something like 5 million dollars that was supposed to go to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and only 1 million was donated?  I'm sure all of the sick kids who were dying of cancer appreciated his sacrifice when he "settled".

I'm just not getting my news from places like PJ media. Some reports say that they raised 15 mil and used most of the money for business interests.  What ever the number is, if you're scamming money from a childrens cancer hospital you're lower than a turd.

Doesn't this kinda blow the argument that we don't need social safety nets, that it can just be dealt with through charities?  IF most charities are corrupt, how would you expect them to be a reliable safety net?
