Quote from: CNCAppsJames on June 13, 2024, 07:56 AMWhat you and the rest of the fraud deniers always claim and point to are the cases not heard or the cases that were thrown out.

Fair enough. :coffee:

What you also fail to point to are the reasons the majority of the cases and their disposition; standing.

I'm not about to explain to you how standing works, but suffice it to say if you understood it, you would not be  proclaiming victory. You would be hanging your head in shame.

:coffee:

Ahh, more Trumpster victim whining. Not quite the same as a corrupt DOJ, but close. Guess what? If there was a case to be made, it would be heard. But you don't want to hear or understand that; you'd rather bitch and complain about the system than examine why things didn't go your way in the first place.

And since you've been kind enough to respond, perhaps you could answer a question some of us might have: When did Republicans, and Tummp supporters in particular, become such weak, pathetic victims? I remember, (and I'm sure you do too) a time when Republicans were tough, stand-up, take-no-prisoners badasses. If there was a problem, they'd face it head on, and not complain about conditions or an unfair system. They knew how to fix shit, and could be counted on to do so. They'd, (how does the saying go?) pick themselves up by the bootstraps.

What happened to those guys?

Did you really quote me twice? Geeze man, get a life! ;D

You are making my point; Republicans need to talk about policies, and what policies might have cost them the presidential election in 2020. (Yes, he did lose.) Stop whining about a stolen election. It's been almost 4 years and there hasn't been a case made that supports this allegation. Enough already.

Back to policy. It could indeed be argued that Trump did a great job with the things you listed. (I don't disagree) There are, however, other policy issues that drove people to the polls in droves to vote against him in 2020.

- Many disagree with how he handled immigration, and the percieved racism that went along with it.

- There are also those that aren't a fan of how he handled international affairs, which at times made the US look like buffoons, and a puppet to Putin and Russia.

- Many are also not happy with his tax cuts, which appeared to benefit mostly the ultra rich, while being of no benefit to people of lesser means.

- His supreme court appointments also weren't universally lauded, which leads us to probably the most important issue in 2024: The overturning of Roe v. Wade. I don't have a uterus, so I don't have a say, but word on the street is that there are lots of people pissed about it, and they vote.

So, here's my ask: if Trump loses, (a BIG if IMO) maybe think about what policies could have caused his defeat, instead of bitching about a non existant election fraud fantasy.

(You forgot China virus.)

(Uhh , NATO pay your fair share ? middle east shaking hands ? Putin and Xi now invading Ukraine and Taiwan.
Not to mention Iran emboldened and Hamas attacks Israel ? Afghanistan withdrawal. His policy seemed a lot better.)

(And Ketanji was universally lauded? what is a woman?)

(They just returned the decision Roe v. Wade to the states choice which is as it should be.)

And your question ?

I think was a bit more advice and not necessarily pointed at one but all as a group.

But you did good. :D
