What in the hell is going on these days.

Roku just had a recent TOS agreement change that is similar but at least you can't die from an allergic food reaction from your Roku?  wow.

Disney wants wrongful death suit thrown out because widower bought an Epcot ticket and had Disney+

https://www.cnn.com/2024/08/14/business/disney-plus-wrongful-death-lawsuit/index.html

A man suing Walt Disney Parks and Resorts for the wrongful death of his wife is facing a new legal hurdle: Disney is trying to get it dismissed and sent to arbitration — because he signed up for Disney+ years earlier.

Court documents show that the company is trying to get the $50,000 lawsuit dismissed because the plaintiff, Jeffrey Piccolo, signed up for a one-month trial of the streaming service Disney+ in 2019, which requires trial users to arbitrate all disputes with the company. Company lawyers also claim that because Piccolo used the Walt Disney Parks' website to buy Epcot Center tickets, Disney is shielded from a lawsuit from the estate of Piccolo's deceased wife, Kanokporn Tangsuan, who died of a reaction to severe food allergies.
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

Don't know where the exact info is, but I've been told "Nobody dies at Disney". If it does happen, they cart you away and pronounce dead elsewhere, etc. They have a rep to protect, but the arbitration thing i perpetuity is insane. It's like the South Park episode HumancendiPad

Fuck Disney.
They're nothing but a super woke shithole of a company.
They've lost billions in the last few movies that came out, now the latest woke rendition of Snow White has a moronic entitled little bitch playing Snow White and she tweets out that free palestine bullshit when her costar is Gal Gadot!

My niece got married in Orlando a couple years ago and she wanted to do the Disney park thing. Being the good sport I am I went to the Magical Kingdom with her. I even wore the "Team Bride" T shirt!

The Magical Kingdom sucked, at least for me. The youngsters enjoyed it. I thought that's enough Disney for me, I'm going fishing tomorrow.

But my sister talked me into giving the Animal Kingdom park a chance and I really enjoyed that. Enough that I'd do it again. I'd do Epcot and Hollywood studios too.

Universal studios is in the area also. It isn't Disney but I've heard it's worth seeing.

As for the Magical Kingdom, the coolest thing about that was the iconic castle. And when it got dark they had a very good fireworks display behind the castle, using the castle as a sky line. So if you have to endure the Magical Kingdom you might as well make the best of it and stick around for that.

Also, buy the express (or whatever it's called) option so you can bypass some of the lines by scheduling a time to go thru. It's a little more expensive but beats the hell out of standing in line most of the day!
