His judge was replaced the day before his appearance. With someone who has never tried a criminal case before.
The previous one just decided to step down.
He was hammered, on drugs, the other person was seriously injured, and he handed them his gold donor card instead of his driver's license.
Oh, and the LAPD accepts stocks as donations.

Of course he gets a stacked deck and a free pass.

The sad part is that if this were the spouse of a GOP Representative from a red state, the media coverage would be 24/7, and it would definitely be a felony charge.

Both parties are equally corrupt, but the Dems get the free pass from the media...

Kill the messenger?

I was just pointing out that Fox "news" is a part of the MSM and they ARE covering it. Just to appeal to the partisan "Jeffs" out there.

Nobody was hurt in the posts in this thread. :)

And for the record, if you don't think people with friends in high places, regardless of political affiliation, get preferential treatment in this country I've got a nice bridge you might be interested in.

Reading comprehension once again eludes you, my friend.

I said this quite clearly:
QuoteBoth parties are equally corrupt,...

Fox is the ONLY media outlet I see covering this story, so by definition, they are NOT mainstream media.

What drugs was he suspected of being on?

I assume that police reports are public record?

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

I did a search and found at least 25 articles covering this.  Obviously none of them are going to have "Jesse Watters" angle.

Because Fox is the only media outlet that posts rage bait for the Jeffs of the world (which isn't true, there are a shit ton of right wing sites that do that) they aren't MSM? Are they not a part of just about every tv package offered by streaming services?

But I guess you can define it that way if it suits your purposes. :)

By "Jesse Watters angle" you mean the truth, right?

I don't know what drugs, they weren't specified.
They initially refused to hand over bodycam footage and mugshot. But they have to provide that for the court, that footage shows he was hammered.

Did you watch the video? he says that like 50 seconds in.

Which proves my point.

When you say you found 25 articles 'covering' the story, how many of them are pointing out the obvious fuckery, like changing judges the day before the court proceedings begin?

And then finding out the 'new' judge has all kinds of connections with the defendant and his side of the case?

The person I feel the worst for in this case is the victim who is still suffering.
We all know Pelosi will never serve a day of jail time, but I hope at least the victim gets some financial compensation, because he sure as hell isn't going to get justice from a kangaroo court like this one.
