The Jessee Watters piece named the new judge and her obvious political connections, but he didn't include the name of the previous judge.
The why is obvious, unless and until we hear differently, like if the previous judge were ill, or had a family emergency.

Those things are going to be a matter of public record, so we'll have to wait and see.

The only thing I can find is that 'Monique Langhorne' was appointed to replace a retiring judge. If that is the judge Watters is talking about, I don't see the there there.  That's why I'm wondering who that original Judge was.

During her tenure as a commissioner, she handled a broad range of court cases, including civil cases, probate, family law, juvenile delinquency and dependency, criminal law, drug court, and peer court.
