One of my high school classmates was a Production Assistant for The Tonight Show in the late 80's. Part of his job was carrying gear for their field trips. It took them less than an hour to shoot enough footage for one segment.

I have been saying it for years.
Our generation and those before us were taught HOW to think.
The current generation is being taught WHAT to think.

The difference is mind-boggling and frightening, especially considering that some 20-year-old today will be President of the United States 20-30 years from now...
