I was talking about eastern Oregon/Washington seceding into Idaho. It's apparently legal and doable, just needed to be voted on or something in each county that wanted to secede.

Oh.. yea, I don't know anything about that. I always hear a bunch of people ranting about it after elections but then goes away pretty quick. Other than that, I haven't paid much attention to it.  I can't imagine another State taking on the least tax revenue generating areas of another State and expecting that to go well.  King County here in Western Washington pays for almost everything that gets done on the Eastern side of the State.
