I have a friend who convinced her kids (her kids are in their 20's) not to get their children vaccinated at all.  She goes out of her way to find information that supports how she already feels about vaccinations and never approaches it objectively.

My example above is a bit of an exaggeration for effect..

There have been people like that since the start of vaccines... It's nothing new... But hearing stories from people talking about how their child was perfectly healthy, smart, talkative, etc, then they get a vaccination and a day later they are all of a sudden mute, mumble, can't walk, etc. and that affects them the rest of their lives, it certainly makes you think twice about giving your child a vaccine. Are my kids vaccinated? Yes. But do you not think my wife and I had a long discussion beforehand about them?

My g/f's daughter is very skeptical about the US Child and Adolescent Immunization Schedule. I get that. They followed a different schedule but I can't remember who's.

If getting her children vaccinated makes her anti-vax then yea, I guess she is.

I thought I did?  :fun:

I'm not anti vaccine but I don't think the effectiveness of them are as high as they advertise. Flu is rampant around here and a lot of people get a flu shot. I didn't get any vaccines this year.

Quote from: neurosis on February 14, 2025, 08:25 AMHopefully the system gives a complete description of each injury. Vaccine injuries can be something as small as a headache that may not even be related to the vaccine.

People are so cynical these days they'll just look at numbers and say "see, vaccinations bad!"  They do that now.

So....sorting sisters funeral.
Glioblastoma stage 4.
Funeral parlour....talk with girl organising 2days ago.
20 mins on things and she said "wer'e seeing a lot of people with the same as your sister".
Wife blurted "jabs"....which led to the 20 min chat.
She said huge rise in men of certain age (50+) with all sorts of C and heart issues.
Also said the embalming dept has noticed huge rise in "stringy clots"

Vaccinate for things that can kill or maim you. The rest... don't do stupid shit and wash your nasty ass hands after you go to the bathroom, and there's no guarantees in life except death and taxes.

Why can't a single vax be used for a single purpose, and be spread out so WHEN there is an issue, it can be better understood, instead of the sheeple screeching "vaxxes are perfectly fine and safe for everyone" when they may in fact not be safe for everyone.

If that makes me anti-vax... then so be it.

Measles Outbreak– Feb. 14, 2025

Not because of unvaccinated illegals though, right? It's only coincidence that one of the top border crossing states has an outbreak in one of the highest vaccinated states in the country. Right?
