We've got a nice break in the cool weather so I'm going to hop on my bicycle and go out for 10 miles or so. That's one of my favorite things about spring and summer.

I didn't do as much fishing last year as I would liked to have done so I'm going to make a point of getting out once a week or so to do that.

I've joined a senior golf league so I golf almost every Tuesday, and also 9 holes on Monday because I'm on the board of the league. I've been a once a year golfer (at most) for the last 35 years so I'm not good but it's fun.

And I may take some pickleball lessons and join a league also. I used to play a lot of tennis and ping pong so the few times I've played pickleball it seemed pretty natural. And it's fun.

What do you guys like to do?

We open the doors at the BJJ gym when it is nice outside.  ;)

Seriously, I absolutely hate running on the treadmill so during the cold months I run a lot less. Once it gets into the 50's or above I start to run more outside.

That's the way I am with a bicycle. I don't like stationary bikes but make myself do it in the winter, then in summer and spring I'll go out and really enjoy the exercise.

I was exhausted after you said "hop".

The wife and I are getting on the bicycles for the first time this weekend after a long, cold summer. I sure miss being able to ride year round.

In the winter on non-weight lifting days I will do a more crossfit circuit style workout rather than running. A mix of treadmill, rowing, pushups, burpees, BJJ style mobility drills, etc. In the summer it's 4 to 6 miles runs.

last night, I got out fished by a 4 year old with a spiderman fishing pole, and then had to clean the catfish by myself while he climbed in the tree near my fish cleaning station.  >:(  ;D

it was a good evening.

Our golf league starts tomorrow afternoon and runs until early August.  We have 17 Teams that play every week (4 guys per team go out).  This is its 25th year, although I've only been aboard for about 12.
I play, on average every other Tues, teeing off @ 4:30.  It's pretty Awesome

My wife's company party was there last year, which was my first time playing pickleball.

We go there on occasion for lunch and games. There is something fun for the whole family, from the old people to the grand kids. :)

It's a cool place, neat concept. Sadly, I don't like chicken and their burgers suck.

I agree, for my taste the food isn't great. I'm not a big chicken guy but haven't tried the burgers. A few people have told me they think the chicken at Chicken-N-Pickle is the best but to me I don't see much difference from the rotisserie chicken you get from Costco for $5.00.
