Does anybody remember when GW Bush wanted to invest some of the SS money in the stock market back in 2000? the Dow sat at about 10,000 in those days. Democrats called it a risky scheme. the Dow is at 40,000 today, but the SSA becomes insolvent in 2037.

that would have strengthened social security without raising taxes. risky scheme!
