Earliest documentation I have is dated July 2024.
P500 is currently shipping on most of the lineup. 👍

Soon it will be a "plug" that you have to sit on and the machine will only jog when the operator is un-clenched.

Mandatory meditation and breath work for all operators. GUSFRABAAAAAAAAAAA  GUSFRABAAAAAAAAAAA  GUSFRABAAAAAAAAAAA

We we just ordered another Multus B250 to go with the M560 we ordered last week. It is the last one with a P300 control.

B250 is cute little package. Lots of capability in a small envelope.

This will be our 4th B250. They work great for the parts we run through them. 2"-6" diameter and under 3" long. We put SMW quick change chucks and have 60 ATC. Our change overs takes 10-15 minutes and with our automation we can run 10-20 hours of unattended production. Our oldest B250 was installed in July of 2019, it currently has 41,000 of green light in-cycle running time and has probably done close to a million tool changes.

We ended up being a day too late with the PO so we are now getting a P500 control on the B250. I guess it is inevitable that we will have to train operators on the new control seeing as we normally buy one or two machines a year. It just sucks that Okuma made it so much harder to operate.

Quote from: CNCAppsJames on April 03, 2025, 07:47 PMEasy... that OSP control is fucked up compared to FANUC, Mitsubishi, Haas, Siemens, etc....

j/k... sort of
I'm starting a OSP post for our Okuma MA-8000H that will be based off our Fanuc post. I'm going to try changing the "word code" to numerical but I don't know if it's possible yet.

Very solid machine. We have three of them with Fastems FMS and 56 pallets total.

Nice!! retiring some older machines in the process or just shop growth?
The B250 looks like an awesome platform.
