Agree. that was copy and paste was to add some context as i didn't want to type this early in the morning. My best friend from high school moved to a small town just north of Coeur d'Alene. We used to do a lot of elk hunting up in that area. I have seen with my own eyes the racist people from that area. its pretty gross. Would not go to a bar in some of those small towns with a good summer tan and expect to not get into a fight.

Just last year a women's basketball team was harassed in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

The team was playing in Washington State but was harassed in Idaho.

They weren't playing a game at the time. They were out eating dinner at a local restaurant.

I believe racism exists just about everywhere. I do not believe it is unique to just Idaho.

you can find "good ol boys" about anywhere in any state. I'm just saying that MY time spent in that area told me a few things. Lots of lightening bolt tats on the forearms and a few tear drops under the eyes. i have hunted and fished all over the west and have yet to see a concentration of that magnitude anywhere else. Racism is everywhere.
When my wife and I moved to Riverside County we stopped at a local Mexican restaurant.
It was the middle of the day on a Saturday.
The waitress came to our table and said
"Sir, I mean no disrespect, but it is not safe for your here."
She served us, but told us not to come back after sundown.

I agree.

It's just something Northern Idaho is known for and has been since I can remember.

I've lived in Boise and Garden City years and years ago. I don't remember that area being that bad.
