This makes the third time I've heard something that's gone wrong for Jan 6th pardonees?  Is that a word?

The Jasper County deputy was "legally justified in using deadly force to defend himself" in the January 26 killing of Matthew Huttle, the Clinton County prosecutor's office said in a release.

Matthew Huttle was not incarcerated when this happened and had been out of jail since July of 2024.  He was a habitual drunk and had several other violations.  This likely would have happened whether he had been at the Jan 6 event or not.

Actually, great. It usually rains on the 4th of July here. It's going to be sunny and clear for the next few days. I might get to see some fireworks.
