Quote from: SuperHoneyBadger on July 25, 2025, 05:49 AMIn Canada we were able to sell it to China/India for awhile. Truck it to the west coast, put it on containers and have it incinerated overseas for cheaper than actual recycling plants here. That's how much the contracts are worth. Then those countries said "Saar, no more garbage of you", and now we put it in the landfill. But the municipality will tell you otherwise, of course.

I've been thinking of putting a gps tracker in a garbage bag, and one in a tuna can and see if they end up in the same place. My revolutionary streak dies down after a few hours though, lol.
That happened in Spain - a girl apple tagged it....
It makes me laugh here - local council insists we put cardboard in the blue bin, glass in the green, plastic in the yellow.... along comes the collection truck and....

The can I have just has that straight hose.

When I sold my dirt bike I kept the can. I'll probably never get rid of it.

You've dismissed every Fox News clip for the last 4 years because it's "Fox News" but now all of a sudden you agree?
Weird.

That level of stupidity might just trump having a bartender as the Democrat flag bearer.

Just when you thought Democrats had reached rock bottom with the whore, they keep finding new idiots. Their well is DEEP!

This is confusing. First Trump says the tariffs don't cause prices to go up.

Then he cuts tariffs so prices will go down. But if increasing tariffs don't cause prices to go up how can cutting tariffs cause prices to go down? :headscratch:

Trump cuts tariffs on beef, coffee and other foods as inflation concerns mount

Excerpt:
QuoteWASHINGTON, Nov 14 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday rolled back tariffs on more than 200 food products, including such staples as coffee, beef, bananas and orange juice, in the face of growing angst among American consumers about the high cost of groceries.
The new exemptions - which took effect retroactively at midnight on Thursday - mark a sharp reversal for Trump, who has long insisted that the sweeping import duties he imposed earlier this year are not fueling inflation.
