It is truly shocking how Mr. America First is traipsing all over the world first.  But I guess that's the ploy of all despotic regimes.  Control the media and start shit everywhere else and blame those "others" for all the problems back home.

There's been a lot of things I would have expected a Conservative to be against. MAGA, I don't think there is a line that could be crossed.
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

Trump tells them what he wants and they want the same thing.

Remarkable!

This is exactly how it went last time around. People wanted something different so they voted him in. Eventually, he went full nutjob, which most people saw, and he was voted out.

Of course, he told everyone he didn't actually lose, so the truly delusional Trumptards took him at his word and believe, to this day, the stolen election nonsense.

If you think Trump "controls the media" then we have VERY different definitions of what the word "control" means.

Trump isn't controlling squat in that arena. Anywhere in the world.

It's entirely possible to be against something yet, believe it is the best of several very bad outcomes.

Thus, Trump is elected.

I don't believe for a second that's why MAGA supporters voted for Trump. There were other options for a Republican president. You'd have a hard time convincing me that conservatives have principles anymore, and yet they still call any moderate conservative a RINO. Someone calling a moderate Repub a RINO while throwing their own principles out the window to support Trumps abuse of power is a joke. Most of that party has become a joke (I'm looking at you Lindsey). Trump has turned the party in to a cesspool and our Country in to the same joke the Republican Party has become. I just hope that the next president, Republican or Democrat, can act like an adult and not take advantage of the broken guardrails Trump has created in our government.

Just my opinion, of course.

My personal feelings are that the entire american electorate gets a share in the blame. What ever you think of Trump, and I can see why people don't like him. The Democrats, if the are so far superior, should have been able to field a candidate that would beat him handily. Both parties have fallen so far, and quite honestly, are both being lead by some of the worst factions of their respective parties.  And each one saying, at least I'm not that guy.

His post this morning with the map showing Greenland,Canada and Venezuela as part of the USA is really something.

That's a fair take, but you also have the house and the senate that could put some cold water on President Caligula and there is one party that refuses to do that.

Can you give me an example when a democratic congress has put cold water on a Democratic president?

Just a recent example, Biden's own cabinet could have invoked the 25th amendment to remove him because of his well established mental decline, and replaced him with another democrat but they didn't. So you really can't sit there and say one is better than the other.

Jesus fucking Christ man,

Can you say the last time a democratic president was threatening their closest ally or actively destroying NATO?
