This is not Iraq.

This is supposed to be a 4 week strike.  Drop bombs on the leaders, next in line, next in line, etc, etc, till someone agrees they're not pursuing nuclear weapons.

We'll blow em the fuck up with airstrikes till there's nothing left.

It's not? Wait I thought it was to save the people so they could rise up.
Also where are the nukes?

Man come to think of it, it's exactly like Iraq

they have admitted to pursuing them, want to wait for them to deliver to your door? I for one will pass on that. Any country that chants death to America deserves our visit. Sorry free speech is good but certain speech has consequences.

Where are the nukes?

QuoteThe envoy revealed that Iran dismissed a U.S. proposal that would have barred enrichment for a decade, even with Washington offering to supply nuclear fuel at its own expense. "That was the moment we understood they had no intention of doing anything other than enriching uranium for nuclear weapons," Witkoff said.

According to Witkoff, two Iranian negotiators openly acknowledged possessing roughly 460 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60 percent—an amount he said they admitted could be converted into as many as 11 nuclear bombs. "They weren't hiding it. They were proud," he said, adding that Iranian officials also boasted of bypassing international monitoring systems to reach that point.

Tensions reportedly escalated during talks held last Thursday in Geneva, when Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi began shouting after the U.S. delegation reiterated its demand for a ten-year halt to enrichment. According to NBC News, Witkoff responded calmly, telling Araghchi, "If you prefer, I can leave."

Following the meeting, the U.S. delegation briefed President Trump on the breakdown. Trump was reportedly surprised by the Iranian stance, according to a senior administration official cited in the report.

Witkoff concluded by expressing deep frustration with the process. "President Trump sent us to see if Iran was serious," he said. "But by the second meeting, it was clear a deal was impossible. We came to the third meeting in good faith, and they wanted us to project optimism. There was nothing optimistic about it."

Fair point. :D

TBF though, it has been done so we DO know it's possible  ... but, to your vaild point, I have VERY little faith the lawyers will let us do war the way it needs to be done in order to achieve any sort of meaningful lasting objective.

My personal belief is the an all out nuclear conflict in the middle east is inevitable. Nothing we or Israel do will stop Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. One day, some way, some how, they will have them. They'll either develop them, or buy them. My best guess is they will buy them. Israel has proven quite adept at knocking their production facilities out at crucial times. Russia or Pakistan seem like the most likely sellers. I don't get a sense China wants to go down that road at all. They have a 100 year or 1,000 year plan and participating in a nuclear conflict in that way would most certainly derail those plans.
