Ugh-I should clarify that I haven't poked around in the *pinned* threads on the Industrial forum here (where there is quite a wealth of knowledge as Incog noted). I'd gladly read more technical content here (and on the other forums I frequent), but inevitably there's lots of political discussion to be had most places these days.

I'm not really sure. As far as the E goes, a lot of the real experienced people have either moved on, moved off this earth, or moved to other applications. G, CNCApps Guy and Ron are still active on the E, but the site traffic is nowhere near what it was.

I know what you mean about time. I could have sworn I was on the E earlier than 2001, but then thinking about it, that was quite a long time ago. I've been programming since 1986 (pen, paper, calculator and paper tape), used Mastercam from 1992, NX/Unigraphics and Vericut from 1999, and TopSolid from 2014. Whoosh, that has gone fast LOL
