I do think there will be jurors that will vote guilty out of fear. The question is can they scare all twelve of them.

I don't expect that will be the case though

A hung jury would be bad cause the DA could get a do over if he's stupid enough to try it

They did a pretty good job of scaring all 12 in the Minnesota cop trial.

I would not put it past Antifa, BLM and the rest of their leftist sycophants to bring the heat to ensure their idea of a "proper" verdict.

Guess they are finally putting the National Guard on alert. Had they done that in the first place after that piece of trash Jacob Blake was shot by the police there never would have been uncontrolled rioting in Kenosha in the 1st place. But since the Wisconsin Governor was taking orders from Democrat higher-ups to ENSURE there would be violence, here we are.

Can't the judge just make a ruling and not use the jury?
It's been done before,but I don't think it's very common.

He could do that. Judges tend to use that very sparingly, preferring instead to let the process play out as intended by the framers of the Constitution. Should a grievous miscarriage of justice ocurr, there is a possibility.

The Jury Instructions will be a fun read given all the errors (intentional and otherwise) the prosecution made.

When judges make decisions without the jury, do they risk an appeal? I don't know that much about it. I do remember talking to a judge one time about sentencing outside of the guidelines and he said that if it gets appealed and over turned, it looks very bad for that particular judge.
