Have you had Covid yet?

Yes
No
I don't know
I don't think so
I might have.

I don't need to define anti-vax to you, you know the meanings as well as everyone else on the planet. Furthermore I never disparaged you or anyone else on this forum for declining to get vaccinated.

You may have inferred from my posts that I am pro vaccination (I am) although 2 shots and a booster may well be the end of it for me.

From what I've heard around here is well more than half of the vaccinated are done with more jabs.

For me it will depend on what develops. If there arises a new variant or a covid-flu hybrid that is highly contagous and virulent I might very well choose to get whatever new vaccine is developed to combat it.

As for Omicron, I believe that it is going to get me, my wife and everyone else eventually. I just hope that I and my wife now have enough protection to prevent getting a serious case of it.

There are MANY people who aren't against vaccines, but are against THIS vaccine. Those people are labeled anti-vax. But that's cute the way you act like you don't know what he's talking about.  :coffee:

Sorry I didn't mean to come off as if I was accusing you of disparaging others, I was speaking in general.  You know why I asked you to define anti-vax, since it's already been redefined as anyone against taking the covid shot I was looking to see if that was the angle you were coming from.

How did you get the idea that I pretended to not know what he is talking about? I just declined to answer his disingenuous request for clarification. If that request for clarification was genuine I apologize.

EDIT:
I just saw your post Jon@NOWHERE. Call it lazy writing if you want. Calling a guy who didn't want to get vaccinated against Covid, anti-vax was a short way to describe him.

Because there are now 2 different groups of people that get labeled anti-vax.

1. Old school anti-vaxxer who is anti-vax across the board
2. Anyone who is against taking the covid vax

Jon asked you for the definition of anti-vax. You refused to provide one because there's only one meaning and everyone on the planet knows it. That appears to me like you're denying that multiple meanings exist.

I miss the old days when we would spend an entire week arguing about Mean Tweets.

And gas was $2.

And the shelves were stocked.

And Anti-Vaxx really meant something.

Ah Yes....

Last Wednesday/Thursday I felt a little off. Friday by noon felt like total shit. Body aches, low grade fever, tired, etc. Tested negative on the DIY test, but who honestly shoves that q-tip far enough up their own nose. Had a glass of bourbon and went to bed at 3pm. Woke up Saturday at 11am and felt better. By Saturday night, felt fine.

Sunday the wife started out with the same shit. Monday she was feeling rough. Today better, but with more congestion. She should have drank some bourbon. ;D

OK, I'll own that.

He still asked (paraphrasing) what type of anti-vaxxer you were referring to and you were a dick in return, as if it was obvious what you were talking about when it wasn't.

Quote95% hospitalized not boosted, 93% in ICU not boosted, 98% ventilated not boosted.

Not sure where you are getting your numbers Dan. Around here its almost a 50-50.

https://www.bostonherald.com/2022/01/24/massachusetts-reports-24512-new-coronavirus-cases-over-the-weekend-hospitalizations-dip-below-3000-patients/

QuoteOf the 2,984 total hospitalizations, 1,420 patients are fully vaccinated — or about 48%. Those who are unvaccinated are at a much higher risk for a severe case.

Also in an earlier article it said over 1,200 fully vaccinated have died. Not against the vaccine. Been vaccinated myself and still got covid. It is not the cure all that has been pushed.

He got them from the link I gave earlier that shows the stats of the 5 hospitals that make up Henry Ford Health System.

Do whatever you want but I still believe the vax or whatever it should be called ups your odds of not being on a vent or dying although it still happens.
