88 octane was $4.05 at the one station in town that always has it way lower for some reason.  Regular at that station was $4.20.  I only put half a tank in, should have went to the other end of town and put the E85 in at $3.50, comes out to a bit cheaper per mile if the E85 is at least 50 cents lower.

$4.75 / U.S. gallon for regular at the place I normally get gas.
A few other places around here are as high as $4.95 and climbing.

I saw a report yesterday that predicts a minimum $6 / gallon for regular across the whole U.S. this summer, and much higher in states like California and Washington that have additional state taxes piled on.

We keep saying elections have consequences, and I think people are slowly getting it.
I worked at the polls on Tuesday for the PA Primary and I heard more than a few lifelong Democrats openly criticizing Biden and his failed policies.

I hope that realization carries over into November 2022, and all the way through to 2024.

LOL
It was shocking, I can tell you that!

But it was also encouraging.
We also heard a number of people at the polls asking how they go about changing their party registration, and they were ALL Democrats.

edit: One guy was a registered Democrat who asked if he could vote Republican.  We told him since it was the Primary, he could only vote on the ballot he was registered for, but he could change his registration for November if he wanted.  He was so angry that he still had to vote Democrat in the Primary that he submitted an empty ballot.  His statement was "If all I can vote for is this bunch of assholes, I will leave it blank!"  And he did...

$4.62 this morning. I won't be the one to fire the first shot, but if this keeps going the economic hardship may drive this country to civil war. One of the hallmarks of all civil war/revolutions is great poverty and economic disparity. Every thing the Dems are doing is fueling both.
