I think a more accurate statement would be that they knew iron clad incontestable evidence of fraud would be
required to overturn the election and it was not there.

Not only that, when they were publicly questioning the election they were all of the sudden under multiple investigations. They stopped talking about the fraud and now you don't anything about those investigations anymore.

Annnnnd there is not one investigation that will happen within a years time.

Therefore public disdain tends to fade.

If they were truly investigating. It may be a month.

They have unlimited resources and personnel. $$$$$$$$$$

Think about it.

Make it look like there actually is a democracy.

So do you guys think that Trump is the answer to the swamp? Or is he just taking advantage of it?
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

That is one of the better questions I've seen in this matter.

My honest opinion is he is both. Nobody will ever (with a straight face) claim that Trump isn't an opportunist. I think the vast majority of wealthy people tend to think that way. It's part of the reason they are wealthy in the first place.

In order to drain the swamp, one needs to not be of the swamp.

The swamp is never going to be drained.

Carlin said it best but I wont bother to quote him.  I can't do him justice.

As long as were going to fight and be divided, were going to suffer the consequences.  We ( the royal we ) seem to be fine with that so it is what it is.

Quote from: beej on June 10, 2022, 01:51 PMWell, if that's true, that is quite a plan. He must have released Covid in China as well, because that was what sank Trump. Maybe you're right. I've been wrong before. but Pence, Barr, Devos, Jared, and Ivanka, all seem to agree that the election was not stolen. (at least not in the methods 1 and 2 listed above) Maybe they were all in on this together. Maybe all the RINO'S got together and hashed out a plan to release the Covid Kracken in China, hoping it would destroy the US economy and thereby, get the Evil Orange Man out of office. Or it could be that Trump, as good as his policies might have been, got something wrong in that last year, lost the election because of his own incompetence, and is blaming his loss on others.

this whole election thing reminds me of the folks who always have proof that Elvis is still alive, but for whatever strange reason, never seem to produce him.

Yep, 81 million totally legit votes for an idiot octogenarian who never had more that 10 people show up to a rally.
Way more votes than objectivly popular Obumummer.
Uh huh.

Well as good as Trump's policies were while at that same time being under attack by the former administration before he was even elected and immediately on taking office. He did almost nothing against the swamp. Firing Flynn straight away might have been an outright mistake.
How could u possibly figure Trump was taking advantage of the swamp?????!!?

I don't know. Name one family member who didn't have a government position after he took office? Appointing people like Steve Bannon as his chief strategist?  Hiring contractors to build the wall who had no idea what they were doing. To the point that the wall started sinking in to the river?

I get what you're saying.  I don't think that Trump ever had any intention of draining the swamp.  I think that his motivation was to profit from it. Do you blame him?

Name one letter of the alphabet that hasn't been appointed to SlowJoe's cabinet. Trump treated the presidency as a business and appointed people he trusted. Joey is using the presidency as a political stunt and appointing people the dimwits think are second class citizens.

Do you believe Trump personally picked each and every contractor who built that wall? That's done by government bidding and there are a lot of people in the government tasked with working on infrastructure. They had dozens of companies working on the wall. And BTW that was a privately funded section of border wall, NOT Trumps wall. But obviously when Dimwits think of Border wall they automatically think of Trump.
