Add this to the drag queen kids shows, CRT, etc, and the list of reasons why I am glad that all of my kids are done with school keeps growing.

We ended up starting over when my wife got pregnant just as our second son was getting ready to move out, so I have a 2 year old.  The more I think about it the more I am seriously considering homeschooling....

I don't suppose you get any kind of a tax break for homeschooling?

I don't have kids and knowing that my taxes go to useless administration than teachers is infuriating.

QuoteWhy Increasing Education Spending Might Not Boost Teacher Pay
The United States already spends more on public education per student than almost any other developed nation in the world but does not make the top of the lists for teachers' salaries.

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

No Breaks. We did it for over a decade and paid for it all out of our pockets. Ask our girls we put them through the worst time of their lives, but compared to the their peers they are seeing how much they learned being home schooled having gone to public school the last couple to few years of High School. Amazes them how much their peers struggle with basics.

was in your boat a few years back and we ended up sending him to a Parochial school for K-7 and then switched to public (a lot of entitled brats and wanna be's in Parochial). he had an adjustment but has a good group of friends and in honors classes... so far so good but our public school in our are does have some common sense left..
my older kids don't want kids at all for those reasons

People have been fighting for that, but so far, no.

My daughter has been home schooling my 3 grandkids (ages 12, 10, & 5) from day one, and they are doing great.
They still have to take state assessment tests, and so far all 3 of our grandkids are testing above their grade level across the board.

My oldest granddaughter is testing at TWO grade levels higher than her age in reading, and the middle granddaughter is exceling in math.

Home schooling has certainly been criticized, and it has been done poorly by some people, but when it is done properly the results speak for themselves.

So yeah, when my daughter and her husband write the check for their school taxes every year, frustrating doesn't even begin to describe it.  :wallbash:

There should be an option in the pool about following your doctor's advice.

My doc advised getting the J&J one poke. I got it back in 4/21.

I'm the only member of family to remain 'Rona free throughout.

But I doubt that shot had much to do with it.

I credit the bourbon. It's hand sanitizer for the inside.

It's kinda like becoming a U.S. Citizen.

Some people prefer to do it correctly (aka a true vaccine) passing the citizenship requirements.

And others just blow past the border(aka MRNA not proven)

What is funny is the past vaccinations from 10 years ago say. Have proven efficacy.

small pox,measles,mumps. (True citizenship)

But that Darn mrna and covid just refuse to go away.( illegal entries)

and they just keep throwing it at you as proven....It's not.

And becoming a true American is worth the wait.

I'm proud of you. :)

If the vaccine wasn't proven and didn't work, it would've have been given to rich white people. (business owners who import and employ illegal entries to reduce their labor costs and grow their wealth)

I'm not a US citizen and I never will be.
