Pretty much spot on with my prediction, although it is not fully settled yet. I still think the R's will get the house but it will be a razor thin margin.

What is very telling is the exit polling data related to peoples approval of the direction of the country, inflation, etc. It is very consistent between parties. Overwhelmingly people are not happy, regardless of party affiliation. We really do live in two different realities. The collusion between big tech, mainstream media, and the D party has created such an alternate reality for D voters. Likewise, while the extreme right media is miniscule compared to lefts propaganda machine, it too has created an extreme partisan reality for R voters.

I definitely do not put Musk into some savior status, but I think the only hope to pull back from the extreme partisanship is more high profile people Musk pushing for more free speech and real discussion. That however does not bode well for the ultra rich and politicians in power so the resistance will be incredible.

Yeah, I was telling friends and family no not get their hopes up too high for a red wave, even though I personally would have liked to see a huge shakeup.

The House gets a reprimand for the first two years of Biden's policies, but the Senate is likely going to keep the Dem majority.

All we are guaranteed is two more years of gridlock, then another shakeup in 2024.

I think Doug nailed it right on the head that there are two completely different perceptions of reality.
Until that changes, we are going to remain in a place where the balance of power will be resting on a razor thin majority either way.

Ability to elect a senile, hair sniffing pervert, octogenarian and all around objectively bad guy to the highest office in the land is impressive to say the least. The 'best' part is to pay almost no price and get another badly compromised fetterman into the senate. Democrat machine is obviously the smartest and most powerful force. Amazing they can get voters and cheaters to believe the R's are so evil, that our retards are a better choice.
