I really don't understand the illegals with driver licenses. It's not that way here. But I did find this discussion going on a few years ago.

Proposal to create limited KS driver's license for undocumented immigrants

A House committee is considering a bill that would allow illegal immigrants to a obtain Kansas driver's license. Members of the Fed and State committee heard testimony on the legislation, HB 2003, last week.

Kansas requires licensees to prove they are citizens of the U.S. by providing a birth certificate, U.S. passport or certificate of citizenship. Non-citizens can receive licenses by providing a permanent resident card, valid employment authorization card, or unexpired passport from their home country showing legal entry marks. They can also drive on licenses issued by their home country.

Rep. Ponka-We Victors introduced the legislation to create a limited license for people who can't provide citizenship documentation. She said she'd been waiting years for her proposal to receive a hearing.

"Currently, there are thousands of Kansas residents that cannot prove lawful presence," she told the committee. She said many drive daily to places like work, school and church.

"This bill would provide a legal pathway for our Kansas residents regardless of immigration status to be properly educated on our traffic laws and to be insured," Victors said.

All that is required for a Kommieforniastan Driver's License is to simply "...present acceptable documents establishing your identity/birthdate and residency...". That is all.

Funny thing about "criminal illegal aliens"... to Democrats they are not criminals for breaking our laws regarding lawful entry into my nation and the residency that ensues. They have been afforded and assured "sanctuary". What that means in plain person's language is "... come here, you are welcome. Have children, buy homes, use our services...."

You can parse it however you want but the reality is in the People's Republik of Kommieforniastan there are millions of people here, that do not belong here. They have not been vetted. They have not followed the procedures. They have not followed the law. Democrats have given them carte blanche. Ignore/Deny all you want. That is the reality and NOBODY is getting arrested for voting illegally here in the PRK.

JFC Brian, here it is since you seem to need it so much. You're right and I'm wrong. Even though I've agreed with you twice now. No punishment taxes and no illegals with licenses. There is nothing more to it. Easy peasy.

IMO, the problem in the U.S. is people wanting to express the opinions as black and white facts and refusing to even consider there might be an opposing viewpoint. Then they get all butt hurt when somebody doesn't consider their opinion, which they haven't bothered to justify in the slightest, as the absolute truth.

Well, that's one of our problems anyway.

Interesting how in states that have secure election laws, voter ID, etc, the polls were pretty accurate. Florida's red wave matches the polls. Then in states with lax voter laws, unsecured drop boxes, unsecured chain of custody, counting for days, etc, Dems way out performed the polls, even though the polls were done by the same pollsters using the same methodology. Seems legit

The logic doesn't pass the smell test.

to be registered to vote you have to establish your citizenship at the time you get your driver's license - if you're an illegal hoping to get that document so you don't get ICE'd at a traffic stop (quite likely), the LAST thing you're going to do is risk it to try to present a fake passport or birth certificate to ensure you can VOTE. 

Also don't know many illegal aliens (Except maybe from russia) that are buying homes..

They keep threatening to impose a tax on the wealthy here in Washington State. There is a reason for it however.  This State is the most repressively taxed State in the nation.

Who do you think provides all those fakes SS and DL numbers that go through the System legally for the illegal people? They are not the ones voting, but their information was harvested by those who need them to keep their scheme alive. Not a matter of getting one of on the republicans it is a matter of keeping the status quo. As long as they keep their mouths shut and heads down they are left alone. Honestly, who knows?  I can't speak to the motivations of others...the reality is, they have broken the law in several ways already at that point...is them doing so again such a far reach?

I never said that happened.
I said the DMV is so incompetent that many illegals get improperly registered to vote because the DMV
is not doing their job properly.
I distinctly remember reading articles in the local papers in 2020 stating there were issues with this and
the DMV admitted that at least 350K illegal immigrants had been improperly registered to vote.
Given how screwed up the DMV was during the covid lock down it is reasonable to assume the errors continue to this day

A few months ago, I renewed my driver's license on line. It was a very simple and painless process.
However, it took my word for it when I checked yes on the citizenship question and the database did not
know I was already registered to vote.
I had to tell it 3 separate times that I did not wat to register to vote.
I do not know what would have happened had I answered yes, but I have zero faith that I would not have been registered again and received a 2nd ballot.
