I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

I saw that yesterday and then wondered how many things he would touch without washing his hands.

Just running some numbers for Ohio:

So, Gov. DeWine informed us yesterday that 54% of Ohio COVID related deaths were from Nursing Home patients. These are frail, elderly people many of which with a host of health issues.

According to John Hopkins data - Ohio now has 10,057 COVID related deaths. Since appr. 54% are from nursing homes, that leaves 46%. 46% of 10,057 = appr. 4,626.

Ohio's population is appr. 11.7 million (2020 est.). 4,626 of 11.7 million is appr. 0.0395%. So excluding nursing home patients... Ohio's COVID "survival rate" currently is 99.96%. INCLUDING nursing home patients (all Ohioans, in other words) Ohio's "survival rate" currently is 99.914%.

87% of Ohio's COVID deaths are from those 65+ years of age. Or appr. 8,750.

13% of Ohio's COVID deaths are from those under 65 years of age. Or appr. 1,307. Which is appr. 0.011% of 11.7 million people. Leaving the "survival rate" of those Ohioans younger than 65 at 99.989%.

^^^ Just putting the numbers in perspective. A young lady (pretty hot looking) was acting all freaky the other day at the inside food court. "Stay 6 feet away!" Then she sanitizes her hands after the checkout. Her risk levels are very small, in reality. Stop freaking out!

Cargill has publicly stated that their goal is to control the world's food supply.  They've made a lot of progress already.

I tested positive for the 'rona last Sunday... and guess what; it ain't gonna kill me! I survived the 80's ....

I didn't even take a day off work. I took mid-day naps, but still working. Of course I've been working from home so don't think I'm draggin' that $#!+ out with me out and about. That would be rude. I'll test again tomorrow to see if there's any change. No symptoms other than diminished smell and taste remain.

Is catching it going to change my opinions of it and/or change my behavior? Not. One. ******g. Bit!

We've been lucky so far at work. But last Tuesday one of our machinists was diagnosed with Covid so he's off on quarantine. His daughter likely caught it at school where half the basketball team that she played on was diagnosed with it.

Out of an abundance of caution I'm going to get a test tomorrow.

Also found out last week one of my dive buddies, upper 40s, was diagnosed with Covid. He told us on Thursday, Friday he was at the emergency room, Saturday he was admitted to the hospital with Covid and Pneumonia. He's on oxygen but doing OK for now.

Just had one of our good, homeschooling friends die yesterday: his children and our son were best friends growing up and they still keep in touch a little. His wife didn't say it was from covid, but he's never been in good health since we've known him and he was recovering from covid, though one of his last posts on Facebook had said he was doing much better. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a covid related issue as those seem to be abundant especially since he was 70. He's the first close friend we've lost to this.

Survived the 80's?  P'shaw.
I survived the 60's, 70's and 80's. The quality of hallucinogenics started going downhill in the mid 70s.
