A WIENER mobile is now the latest addition to South Bend's car museum.

Considering the violence of the implosion/explosion, I am guessing all the human remains that could be found would be maybe some bone fragments that stuck into the carbon fiber.

And yet I have read that sperm whales and their food (giant squid) are at that depth quite often.

Are they suddenly thrust into that depth or do they have time to acclimate to the depth? Are they in a cylinder that is at surface pressure to go down to that depth then released? You think that opening up an air capsule that is at sea level pressure while being 10000+ feet BELOW sea level won't do anything to what is inside?

A hard cylinder that wasn't made to go to that depth is a recipe for disaster. I can't answer as to the squid but the whale is taking a limited amount of air with it so I would think it would be thrusting to get to the squid. Squids and whales are made of mostly meat but the pressure doesn't seem to affect them. There are fish, shrimp, worms and probably hundreds of other creatures down there also that aren't effected.

There were so many mistakes made during that whole process, including manufacturing, that it was doomed from the start.
