Is Jack Smith actually doing the thing, that he is charging Trump with doing? Dershowitz thinks so.

"You know the worst thing about this indictment, under the terms of this indictment, Jack Smith can be indicted. Let me explain to you why," Dershowitz said. "The statute says the following, two or more persons conspire to injure and deny somebody the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured him by the constitution. What if a court ultimately rules that Donald Trump had a right under the First Amendment to make his Jan. 6 speech and to do what he did? Then Jack Smith will have conspired to deny him of that right. although, I'd have to disagree that anybody in DC would indict him on a crime against Donald Trump. I think that if someone shot Trump on video in DC, they'd probably take him out for a beer afterwards.

But if Jack Smith is simply trying to overturn the 2024 election, how is what he is doing now, different than anything Trump did?

Simple question, have you read the indictment? It's only 45 pages

I can be certain AD has, and he also knows that in grand jury testimony that the prosecution will lay out the damning facts. I do think I mentioned that above...

While what AD alludes to is part of the indictment, there is also conspiracy charges and statements of fact of such actions.

That alone should be reason enough for every independent and party line R to vote for Trump. He will seriously go scorched earth on all of the corrupt, out of control gov agencies. You want to clean house at the DOJ, FBI, CIA, FDA, NIH, etc. , elect Trump.

I did read it. I have to admit what I don't know, and I am not a lawyer. But my first question is what is actually illegal when I read it.

Let me start with a simple question. What is the statute of limitations on the crime he committed? If someone could tell me that, maybe I could start to piece together what the crime actually is.
