it's hard to know what to call that exactly because our institutions apparently have different standards depending on whether the people vote left or right. I would personally call it a protest or even a riot. I have a hard time calling something an insurrection unless there is a proportional amount of weaponry involved in comparison to the govt they are insurrecting against.

Can you give me some example of an insurrection that occurred in any point in History that didn't involve a large arsenal of weapons?

I'll buy that. As long as there is NO proof that the goal was to prevent the certification of the election. If that was provably the goal, then I'd call it something more than a riot.

what do you think media outlets would have called that. My guess is a "mostly peaceful protest" and refer to the amount of people who stayed outside of the capital and never went in, compared to the amount who did go in.
