I hated Mitch long before I saw the Republican wrath come down on him but probably for different reasons. I thought he was a lying hypocrite.
He managed to stay out of the spotlight for the most part... until Trump. He didn't just butt heads with Trump though as is customary, Cocaine Mitch had a case of #TDS that infected every public statement, every policy, every part of advise and consent he was responsible for. Had he had the same scorn for Obummer and Shrub, we probably would have chalked it up to Mitch being Mitch. But as we know, that wasn't the case. He was less supportive of his own party's platforms and policies than he was of the other party's. Thus, he's a hated piece of garbage much line McCaine.
