He's possibly the worst broadcaster next to Joe Buck and Gus Johnson.

One has to be previous winner, one American, one International, something else I can't remember.

The wind is WHIPPING now. The guys that teed off about 1pm had the best conditions

At least the "world #1 Scottie Scheffler" talk is about 50% of previous years, they're still competing to see who can slob his knob the most.

Winning the Masters is hard...
Winning the Masters by 3 shots is impressive by any standard you want to use.

He just hates Scottie and Jordan.

It was a hell of a front nine and anyone's game. Couple mistakes by Äburg, Homa, and Marikowa on the back didn't matter. Scottie was dialed in. Tiger in his day could not have beaten that back nine.

Yes, Tiger was and is THEE dominant player of our time, and there is no comparing anyone to him.

But I believe RStewart's comment was about the changes to the course that have made it more difficult, and the conditions on Friday and Saturday, not comparing the two players.
At least that's the way I read it...

Scheffler was the best at managing his game over all four rounds on a difficult course and harsh wind conditions.

That is the mark of a true Masters' Champion of any era.

Another reason why the golf media falls all over not only Scheffler, but all PGA players.
PGA = Good Guys / LIV = Bad Guys.

I may have found the origin of my hatred for him.
I listen to the Masters online during work and while I'm at home on my computer.
One of the announcers, Billy Kratzert is the main source (and that pretentious dooshbag Jim Nance).
Billy K said on Sunday that he's known S.S. since he was 6 years old.
That says it all and is the reason why he never shuts the fuck up about him. The way he talks him up will make you want to vomit. I wish I was lying.
2 years ago it was all about how great of a man he is, how great of a husband he is, how great of a person he is, blah blah blah.
Last year they must have said "world number one Scottie Scheffler" AT LEAST 200 times over the weekend. When all they had to do was call him by name. Just say "Scheffler for par" or "Scheffler for birdie", etc...

I get it, S.S. is good, I just can't stand him because they're trying to make him something he's not. And that's the new face of the PGA.

What I'm saying is, they can't just say "Scheffler" or "Scottie" without saying "world number one".
It's almost as if it's forced.
THAT is why I can't stand him. They have him on a fucking golden pedestal like he's the messiah.
And I'm convinced they're only saying that because of the Liv/PGA bullshit.
