Nothing wrong with being a fence sitter.

I mean, what exactly is a fence sitter when it comes to politics?    I know what policy I support and what I don't. There is no fence sitting there. Is it someone who flip flops on policy based on the politician running or popular political opinion at the time as long as you adhere to a single ideology (yea, that's a flip flopper)?

Or is it just a term people who like to argue politics give to someone out of frustration because they can't catch get you with a gotcha?

The real definition would be someone who wont choose a position on a particular subject. I can't think of any that I've sat on the fence about?  Or to frame it politically, someone who looks at policy and say's "I can see both points of view (left and right) so can't/won't choose a side. If we're talking about parties, I don't care for either of them. Not out if indecision, because they both suck. I'm not on the fence about that.

My definition of fence sitting was applied specifically to voting.

Some people don't decide who they are going to vote for until they have the ballot in their hands, and even then there is often still some indecision.
