A moderator's job should be to make sure the candidates adhere to the rules. it is the job of the listener to decide who is telling the truth. When the moderator starts interjecting themselves into the debate by "fact checking" they are telling the public "we think you're too stupid to sniff out bullshit". By picking and choosing what to fact check, they are imposing their own beliefs and opinions and it is no longer a debate. It is a 3 on 1 argument.

A key point about that is that moron David said something like "Well I didn't take it that way" when Trump said he was being sarcastic about winning the election by a whisker.
He overstepped his position by a lot. Proving the bias. It's not the job of the moderator to fact check. Period. Leave that to the opponent or post-debate discussions.

I agree, unless the lie is so egregious it should be refuted.

Why do you keep deflecting and not address the point that I made? She supported that bill.
And by supporting that bill, it proves Trump wasn't lying.

Reporters aren't special. Their judgement is no better or worse than anyone else. It's not like you have to be a genius to be a reporter.

That is a ridiculous thing for her to say but I understand the angle that she's coming from. I don't know that Trump gave enough of a shit to consider whether or not adding 3 SCJ's would lead to the overturning of Roe v. Wade, but it did. 

He's said over and over that he wouldn't support a National abortion ban.    I don't know if he would stick to that or not. 

You can decide whether or not that is as egregious as saying that people support killing babies after birth.

No.. lol. I'm not as intelligent as quite a few on this forum.  The difference is that I take the time to dig in to this stuff and not just believe every lie that gets pushed by one side or the other. 

Do you think that it's beneficial to our Country for people to make political decisions based on misinformation?  It's our right, that's for sure. But that's a different argument.
