That's not any issue, I suspect (faithless electors). There's only a few cases in history.

I do think its ingenious. It prevents 2 or 3 large states skewing the overall election. In the dems case, its only 2 (NY and Cali). No wait,... Illinois counts. So 3. Those 3 can tip the popular vote to their favor.
