why don't you just "Print a PDF" straight out of Mastercam?
the default Microsoft Print as PDF doesn't work great, but the Abode version works really well

we switched to Fusion in 2018 when we were tight on money.  Couldn't really pass up 3 years for $500 compared to like $10k for mastercam+solidworks.  It's been good enough for everything I've done, but definitely has some challenges

That is what we are thinking $$$

We would have very limited usage. How is it posting?? Fusion I mean.

We bought a demo machine in great shape and it has Anilam controls currently, But we also have the Fanuc panels.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

All considerations would be vastly renumerated $$$$

microbucks of course.

I can't say I've had any issues posting anything with fusion.  We've got a Hurco VM1 and a new DMG NLX2500 and I haven't had any problems.  The forums are pretty supportive when it comes to post edits.

What machine is that Incog?
I know Emco do a range of training machines where you can change the control/front panel from Fanuc to Siemens etc.
It is a little "unusual" to say the least....!

I think it's a Bridgeport VMC 710XV

Quote from: crazy^millman post_id=17180 time=1634307603 user_id=152everyday I am working pretty much. Lately been teaching it to a group of programmers for one customer and getting more and more requests to just help do process improvements. When you can save $500k to $1,000,000 on parts already running through a place per year people are good with paying you the hourly rates you call out. I keep telling everyone of them just give me 10% of what I save you and I can retire in a few years.

Hopefully they pay you well Ron, you are loaded with experience and world class skills!

I use an entry license which costs me less in maintenance than a subscription to fusion would cost me, but I had to write dozens of gaps to fill in missing functionality from entry, like flowline and using wcs  efficently, since there is only one cplane allowed....

Too many entities maybe? Never worked right. I need to send the PDF files to said manufacturer through their global data exchange. Works flawless through SW.

Use it just about every day (MC 2022).  I'm in school and now I am training a real sharp kid so that soon enough I won't have to use it anymore  :smoke:
