Here are my questions:
1)Why is a cold snap in summer just considered weather, but a warm snap in winter considered climate change?
2)Why are the people that are claiming catastrophic sea rise, still buying houses on the coast?
3)why are some glaciers still growing while others are shrinking?
4)what is the cost/benefit analysis for the proposed climate change policies? or in other words for the price, how much are these measures actually going to help?
5)what is the impact of green policies pushing companies to relocate to other regions of the world where green policies don't exist?

6) How much money are people pocketing from the global warming fear tactic?

I want to know why we should be listening to people that are 0-FER in climate predictions!

O FUCKIN' FER!

As in Not. One. Correct. Predition.

Why @pmartin ? Why is it that we are called "deniers" if we are calling their record out?

Because climate change is a cult, not a science.

And why are (official/record/average global) temps read at airports and big cities? All meteorologists know cities and large expanses of concrete have what is called an "urban heat island" that absorb and release large volumes of heat making the areas consistently warmer.

My guess for airports is because weather is heavily monitored for flights and needs to be accurate.

Yes, however official temps used to monitor the increase over time and prove climate change should be read in a way unaffected by man-made surroundings that are constantly growing. Airports should be able to read their own weather with no connection to official databases and climate change terrorists.

The funny thing about climate change/pollution is the "out of sight, out of mind" effect. When industrial companies were dumping chemicals into lakes, rivers, etc. people could see the results and got concerned. Yet somehow people think the billions of gallons of gas/diesel/NG just magically disappear when burned. I saw a man on the street type interview where they were asking people what happens to wood/gas/etc when it is burned. The majority of people think it ceases to exist. The earth is pretty good at healing itself and maintaining balance, but when unnatural amounts of something are introduced it does not usually keep up. On the smallest scale we have seen this with eco systems and invasive species. We have all seen what and invasive species can do to a lake or predator/prey balance of an eco system. The same holds true for the earth's balance. Too much man-made pollution is effecting the earths balance.

I don't think we are at some dire catastrophic doomsday point, but we can't keep going the way we are either. This is my frustration, no one wants to have realistic conversations. Our leaders on both sides pump out rhetoric to gain power/money and won't actually have rational discussions.

Like how all of the plastics in the ocean. The "solution" was to ban paper straws instead of going after the people dumping the plastics in the ocean.
Also everyone telling people to break up the plastic rings from an 8 pack of beer/pop because it kills dolphins... yeah don't go after the people dumping those rings, go after the consumer lol.

Complete and utter nonsense from those "activists".

Nonsense, yet the ocean is still filled with plastics. We still can't keep allowing that much plastic to accumulate in the ocean. Something needs to change, but it has to be meaningful change.

That's my point exactly. Go after the dumpers, not the consumers.
But... to go after the TRUE culprits of the ocean plastic/garbage island, they would have to go after China and India.
But we all know that's not going to happen.
