He has been on some of the talk shows, and when asked the question about his opinion of who the replacement would be, he has consistently stated he believes it will be Michelle Obama. 

Others think they may try to slip Hillary in there.

Btw...expect a deafening silence from the DNC and the media (one in the same) if / when Biden is replaced because millions of Democrats who voted for Biden in the primaries will all be instantly disenfranchised.

The party apparatus holds the ultimate decision of whom they nominate. Regardless of the primary voting they are still well within their own rules to nominate whomever they please.

From what I gather from this morning news is the Dem's are going to hang tough and Biden will
not be withdrawing from the race.
Their position is, Joe's getting old but no matter how bad Joe is Trump is a thousand times worse.
It's pretty clear Biden has not been capable of performing his duties for some time now.
Who is actually calling the shots is unclear. This has felt like Obama 3.0 since Biden's first day in office.
Regardless of who it is, our country is governed by people who were not elected.
What's going on is not even close to Constitutional, but the Biden Admin has been in Fuck the Constitution mode since Day 1.

While I will agree this should have been done before the primary process, it might not happen that way and it won't be the first time..

The biggest problem with that is the Dem's convention date is way past the deadline for putting someone on state ballots. The convention was meant to be a formality, rubber stamping the selection made in their faux primary.

I believe there are 16 states who's deadline has past.
To change the ticket now would mean negotiating with 16 different states to get them to make an exception to state law.

To put it in layman's terms. for better or worse, the Dem's are Ridin' with Biden.

They want Biden out, but they know Harris is unelectable.

They can't replace Harris, a black woman, with anyone with less woke points. Michelle Obama is a lateral move on the woke scale. Hillary gets a -1 for being white. Newsome is out as a white male, with a big fat zero.

Are there any black, Hispanic, pacific islander, native American, gay, female governors or senators?

I saw an article a couple days ago that said the state constitutions in a few swing states only allow for changing Biden on the ballot if he steps down or the 25th amendment. This could be why they seem to be sticking with him.

As I have said before, I don't think he will step down. He is far too compromised. He would need permission from his handlers as well assurances he and his crime family partners won't be thrown under the bus to appease R's in congress.
