Seems to me that those responsible for protecting our children can't read the fucking signs. Just about every one of the shootings have concerning signs that were ignored. This guy here should have had his backpack and locker checked everyday. He actually should have been expelled a year ago

Quote from: JParis on September 07, 2024, 06:39 AMYou are aware that despite the so called "assault weapons" ban that those rifles were ALL still sold?

I bought an SKS and a CETME Model L, both while the ban was in place.

The CETME had a pistol grip on it when I bought it and it came with a 20 round magazine.

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

I bought a Chinese SKS back around 1998. I bought it at a gun show in Oklahoma. Apparently, that was illegal since i was from out of state.

It's only illegal if you get caught.

#110
Also, it is 100% IMPOSSIBLE to remain in compliance with EVERY SINGLE law, rule and regulation with regards to firearms ownership. Or anything else for that matter.

#ThreeFeloniesADay

There's the big ones that are relatively easy to comply with, it's the minutia where they nail your ass when they want to.

One only needs to look as far as Donald Teump to see selective and malicious prosecution in action. There's not a single POTUS living or dead that did not retain documents collected during their presidency. Not a one. Yet only the #OrangeManBad is being prosecuted.

Somethign else that has changed; mental illness (they/them etc...) is now celebrated instead of treated or handled. All this pronoun shit, trans shit, it's all just mental illness soup and the left and media just lap it up like the filthy animals they are.

Quote from: neurosis on September 07, 2024, 06:56 AMI'm sorry, I assumed people would be smart enough to figure it out based on the thread subject/title.  What was I thinking?

Sorry, but had anybody else posted an unsourced document with zero explanation behind it we would have been called out by our resident libtards and fence-sitters.

I was just giving you shit. I figured that you were doing the same.

If you noticed, I posted the link.

I give you guys shit all the time for not sourcing or using questionable sources so.

Probably not. Long guns can be sold across state lines "IF" the firearm is legal in the state in which the purchaser resides...that is Federal law and can be looked up if there are those that question it...

and the "so called" AWB only applied to "new" manufacture. That's why firearms in that configuration were still sold.

I am probably wrong. I thought the guys that sold it to me did something to make me think they weren't supposed to, but I don't remember what.

Almost everything is legal in Kansas, at least as far as firearms are concerned.

Well, NICS, while passed into law in 93, didn't go live until 98..if you bought in 98, perhaps there was some crowing about getting in before the background check system went live.

Side note, since the background check system went live, there have been FAR MORE shootings than all the time before the system ever existed.

Draw your own conclusions

ORDERS of magnitude more.

Yet another example of Government intrusion making things worse.
